The students from Texas P-10 State School are now fit as a fiddle after being gifted with their new string instruments, at a presentation on Thursday 4 March with the Mayor of the Goondiwindi Regional Council, Hon. Lawrence Springborg, and Cr. Phil O’Shea.

Last month, Topology made a call out on social media asking for donations of instruments for the new string program being established at Texas P-10 State School.

"The response was overwhelming with instruments being brought in from as far as Alice Springs." - Christa Powell, Creative Director"

“John and I were extremely excited to deliver 32 instruments to Texas and have an official presentation at the school last week. It really is wonderful to see such an ongoing commitment to music, supported by the school principal, Sue Hendricks.”

Topology are still seeking donations to go to three more schools in the Texas region, so if you have a 3/4 sized violin, full size violin, 14 inch viola, or full size viola that’s looking for a new home there is still time to donate. Send an email with your details to manager@topologymusic.com and a member of the Topology team will be in contact to discuss your donation.
