Topology announced today that students from three South Burnett state schools will perform their own compositions alongside Topology as the opening act for the band’s WE WILL RISE RECOVERY TOUR performance at the Wondai Memorial Hall on 6:00pm, Friday November 13.

As a part of their Top Up Program [now known as the Topology Creative Academy], Topology have conducted composition and music workshops throughout this year at Moffatdale, Cloyna and Windera State Schools. The students of these Top Up workshops will perform two new compositions, accompanied by vocals and ukuleles, as the opening act to Topology’s WE WILL RISE RECOVERY TOUR performance in Wondai.

WE WILL RISE is a compilation of signature compositions from across Topology’s 23 years, which have been specifically selected to heal, recover and rebuild. Part performance, part conversation, this evening of music has been designed to inspire community conversation, collective reflection and renewed strength.
