Topology are proud to announce that their annual Creative Boot Camp – Brisbane is back in 2020 and introduce the camp’s high calibre artist educators.

Topology’s Creative Boot Camp – Brisbane will be held at Indooroopilly’s St Peters Lutheran College, Performing Arts Centre, from Wednesday September 30 to Sunday October 4, 9:00am to 3:00pm daily. Online registrations close this Sunday 13 September, 2020.

Now in its fourth year, Topology’s Creative Bootcamp – Brisbane is a five-day intensive music program offering emerging composers the opportunity to unleash their full creative potential through hands-on workshops and one-on-one tutorials with Topology’s instructors, who represent various areas of creative expertise. Over the five days, each Bootcamp participant will be guided through the composition process and will come away with a recording of their own original work.

“What’s really gorgeous about this camp is that we get students as young as 12 all the way through to more mature learners which adds a fantastic vibrancy to the camp. It just shows the relevance I think across the board to learn these skills - no matter where you’re at in that pathway. It’s less focussed on instrumental excellence and much more focussed on creating a distinctive voice and creating your own artistry. What is so unique about this camp is that we get to perform the students’ works alongside them, which I think is really thrilling.” - Louise King (Returning Guest artist educator)
