Topology Launchpad alumni Ray Lin wins Queensland Music Award as Topology announce the successful 2021 Launchpad Mentorship Program participants.

We are pleased to congratulate previous Launchpad participant, Ray Lin who recently won best Contemporary Classical work with his new composition Moonlight Illusion at the 2021 Queensland Music Awards held in Brisbane in May.

Ray was a participant of Topology’s Launchpad Mentorship Program and Creative Bootcamp – Brisbane in 2018 spending many hours with Topology mentors working on the craft of composition and creating new works. In addition to this recent award, Ray has received many accolades for his compositions including being a semi-finalist at the 2020 Walter Hussey Composition Competition (UK), and receiving the Honourable Mention Award (Top 5) in the Queensland Music Festival’s 2018 Score-IT (Plus) film scoring competition.

"I am truly amazed by everyone's music. Huge thank you to everyone who has helped me so much along the way. I am very looking forward to more learning and music making ahead." - Ray Lin
